The Media Sales department at PRIME is responsible for growing community marketing advertising revenue through a suite of media products and services that include print, out of home, sponsorships, and digital media. We are looking to hire a seasoned Senior Marketing Consultant to our team of sales professionals. The successful candidate is career-minded and fueled with a passion for helping local businesses reach their goals while also building a career that rewards hard work and top sales achievement.

DETAILS

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contact potential clients through assigned leads, cold calls, existing relationships, networking, and other means
  • Adds notes to internal database for each client/ lead email, call, meeting
  • Research client challenges, needs, and goals and explain the benefits of specific media offerings, responding to any objections
  • Hones and delivers a skilled sales pitch either in person, virtually or via phone in an effort to secure a sale
  • Explain advertising investment and negotiates costs when necessary
  • Facilitates successful sales through marketing agreements providing order information to accounting and production departments through internal processes
  • Maintains excellent client relationships and looks for opportunities to grow accounts
  • Works as a team player to increase ad revenue and meet department sales goals
  • Works closely with Media Sales Coordinator and Production department to collect and provide direction on artwork
  • Tracks media purchases and provides proof of performance accurately and on time to ensure client satisfaction
  • Helps resolve delinquent accounts when necessary
  • Brings forth agency opportunities when applicable
  • Participates in industry related events
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a Related Field; 7+ years of Previous Sales or Media Experience, Self-Starter, Outgoing Personality, Strong Interpersonal Skills, Persuasiveness, Likeability, Confidence, Customer Service, Listening, Resilience, Creativity, Adaptability, Organization, Detail-Orientated, Multi-Tasking, Reliability, Persistence, and ability to work under pressure. Excellent written and oral communication and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and familiar with PC-based software.

COMPENSATION
  • Full-time, exempt position.
  • $80,000 - $120,000 per year. Base salary plus commission with incentives that reward sales performance.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, health savings account, long-term disability, paid time off, 401(k) and 401(k) matching.
  • Laptop provided.
