Ask Christy Stern what she most looks forward to in her new role at Prime Advertising and there’s no hesitation in her answer: to share Prime’s broad capabilities and develop current and new client partnerships.

Community

A recent addition to Prime’s team of Account Managers, Christy has lived in Maple Grove for 25 years. She and her husband have raised three daughters, who range in age from 17 to 22.

“Since I have lived in the area for so many years, I have an understanding of the community,” Christy says. “I’m excited to work where I live.”

Collaboration

Christy is also excited about Prime’s collaborative environment. “I love when people come together and collectively work toward a client’s success,” she notes. “I’m especially looking forward to the opportunity to partner with small businesses that may not have the marketing expertise they need.”

In addition to her marketing knowledge, Christy offers organization and time management skills, keen attention to detail, and a steadfast temperament.

Christy’s Background

Originally from Grafton, North Dakota, Christy graduated from Moorhead State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications. When she and her husband moved to the Twin Cities, Stern began her marketing career at agencies in Edina and Minneapolis. She has also worked for two area churches.

In her spare time, Christy likes to read, especially historical fiction set during the World War II years. “I think I’m drawn to the era because my grandfather fought in that war,” she says. She belongs to a book club, which gives her a chance to read across genres. She highly recommends two of her favorites, both by Kristin Hannah: The Nightingale and The Great Alone.

Christy also enjoys going for walks with her husband and their labradoodle, Cali, watching movies, and scrapbooking. You may often find her scrolling through Instagram for recipe and home inspiration.
