They present a lot of facts you otherwise wouldn’t know unless you researched the stories. It’s really intriguing, and a good distraction for me on my running route.

Heartbroken with Falen
I LOVE this podcast. It goes through different types of heartbreak including breakups, adoption, friendships, and family: how they got there, what happened, and how they got through it. It’s raw and real.
Ben and Ashley | Almost Famous Podcast
I am a Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise JUNKIE. This breaks down the shows and has interviews with the Bachelor family. It’s a fun escape from reality for a bit. It’s also one of those you don’t need to pay attention to and can have on in the background.
RISE Podcast with Rachel Hollis
Rachel is so motivating and talks about real life experiences. She just makes me want to be a better person and reach out of my comfort zone to get uncomfortable and grow as a person.
Brian
Joe Rogan Podcast
The podcast I listen to (nearly every day) is the Joe Rogan Podcast. I listen for many reasons. It’s entertaining and he has such a variety of guests from different fields and different walks of life. It’s interesting to listen to his approach to interviewing because it becomes more like a conversation rather than an interview. Some of his talks with his guests are pretty inspirational. He motivates you to improve yourself on a daily basis.

Tumble Home: A Boundary Waters Podcast
Tumblehome is an informative podcast about the BWCA. Adam and Erik have a great sense of humor. Listening to this podcast allows me to experience Boundary Water trips that I have yet to be on and to remember trips that I have done in the past. There is a new podcast every Sunday and I look forward to it every week.
Fresh Air from NPR
Fresh Air is a great radio show that I listen to as a podcast. The show interviews people and experts about relevant topics and opens my eyes to things I have never thought about. Also, Terry Gross is a legend when it comes to interviews.
Proof
Proof is fun to listen to because they are quick and easy podcasts related to food and food science. Two of my favorites from this series are “Is Cereal a Soup?” or “Who Killed the Miracle Berry?” If you have any interest in food, I would be willing to bet that you will find an episode you enjoy. Bridget Lancaster is also fun to watch on America’s Test Kitchen.
Shauna
Armchair Expert
The host is Dax Shepard and includes a surprising mix of guests and discussions.

Life is Good Ping Podcast
Launched this summer with guest Ringo Starr, this feel-good podcast features Life is Good founders Bert and John Jacobs discussing the power of optimism with musicians, athletes, business leaders, and other well-known personalities. Bonus: Each episode ends with a ping pong challenge for charity, which you can watch online.
Allison
Hidden Brain by NPR
I love the topics of this show and how they really break down the science of why we do, think, or act the way we do. It really makes science interesting.
And That’s Why We Drink
This is a paranormal/true crime podcast. For paranormal, they cover more than just ghosts, including alien abductions, other mystical creatures, and legends from all over the world. Each episode you get a true crime and a paranormal story with a good dose of humor.
Wine & Crime
These gals are originally from the Twin Cities. They tell true crime stories with humor and their worst Minnesota accents. They are so much fun to listen to, and it’s fun to hear how their friendship has evolved.
