As many have heard, a recent discovery of a vulnerability within OpenSSL, has been reported. OpenSSL is a popular data encryption standard that provides an encrypted link between a server and a client, to protect the data being passed (passwords, private information, credit card information, etc). As of April 07, 2014, a security advisory was released by OpenSSL.org, along with versions of OpenSSL that fix this vulnerability. Prime Advertising’s development team patched the OpenSSL vulnerability two nights ago, on April 9, 2014, and has restored the security of our domains.
