We’re thrilled to announce that Kenzie Marthaler has returned to Prime Advertising + Design as a Senior Account Manager. Some of you may remember her as Kenzie Casciano. Help us welcome (back) Kenzie Marthaler and read on to learn more about her and what she brings (back) to the team.
A background in building relationships
Kenzie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Communication and Public Relations with a minor in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She started her career at an agency (spoiler alert: It was PRIME) and she’s never looked back.
“I fit so well in an agency environment,” she said. “I’m drawn to building real relationships and developing solutions that actually move the needle for clients.”
Kenzie is looking forward to bringing to the table what she’s learned and experienced over the last few years. Her role will allow her to utilize strong active listening skills and an ability to understand clients’ needs. Another of her skills is helping to develop integrated campaigns that achieve not only marketing objectives, but overall business objectives.
“I would also say that critical thinking is one of my strengths,” Kenzie added. “What are we doing and why? Is it working? Is there value in it? What’s the impact? Asking and answering these questions is really important in making sure that our efforts actually accomplish the goals we set.”
A team approach
When asked what she was most looking forward to as she rejoins the PRIME team, her enthusiasm was unmistakable.
“Everyone is so collaborative and really cares about delivering excellent work and results,” she stated. “That there are so many of the same team members still here says a lot about PRIME as an agency. I love our team and the clients, and I truly believe in the work we do. That’s one of the reasons I came back.”
A few of Kenzie’s favorite things
Kenzie boasts a long list of hobbies: crafting, painting, workout classes, trying new coffee spots, and brunch. She’s an avid reader; favorites include the A Court of Thorn and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune, and Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson, a book she’d love to read again for the first time.
“I haven’t read the rest of the books in this series yet because I’m trying not to fly through them too fast,” she said, “so I’m happy I still get to experience the rest for the first time!”
More recently, however, her days have looked a little different. While she still finds time for her hobbies, she spends the majority of her free time with her five-month-old baby.
“My entire universe revolves around him (and his gummy smile!),” she said. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Originally from Rochester, Minnesota, Kenzie has lived in the Twin Cities for the last eight years. She and her husband recently purchased a home in Victoria.
“It may sound silly,” Kenzie said, “but we absolutely love having trees. We lived in a condo off the highway for quite a few years before building a house, so having a backyard with space and trees has been such a wonderful thing.”
As much as she loves her home, Kenzie has always kept a running list of places she would like to visit one day. That list includes Norway, Croatia, China, and Iceland. And she dreams of someday eating at a true underwater restaurant.
Please join us in welcoming Kenzie back to the team and contact us today to learn more about partnering with PRIME. Every day, our creative, collaborative team brings energy, enthusiasm, and an unparalleled level of commitment to help meet your marketing objectives.
