Growing up in Brooklyn Park, Anna Peterson was a little girl with a big dream. And that dream – was to marry a Prince and become a Princess. “I was convinced it would happen,” she said. Flash forward to present day. Though not (yet) an Empress, she’s ready to impress her coworkers and clients as PRIME’s newest Copywriter. Please help us welcome Anna Peterson to the team by learning a little more about this crafty creative.
BEEN THERE
After graduating from Champlin Park High School, Anna attended Bemidji State University on her way to becoming a high school English teacher. Or so the thought. But a couple of realizations led her to merge off course, though only slightly.
“I despised making lesson plans, because it never stops,” she explained. “And I didn’t want to teach high schoolers about literature I love but that they would probably hate. So, I switched to English in general, and here I am.”
With an emphasis in writing Anna earned her English degree from BSU, blazing the trail for a job at Five Star Professional. Anna worked as a Content Specialist, managing social media accounts while also writing and holding rank as Editor in Chief for the company’s magazine.
DOING THAT
For her role at PRIME, Anna joins a team of unrivaled writers to create refined and engaging content for clients in various capacities. She looks forward to “gaining agency experience and being a part of a close-knit team,” she said.
Anna is certain this new role will benefit from her particular and thorough nature. “I’m a perfectionist, so I know I won’t be completing work that I’m not confident about,” she explained. In addition, Anna’s personable demeanor will help with interviewing clients and building work relationships.
SUDS, STORIES & SONGS
Away from work, Anna thinks she’s kind of boring. On the contrary, she likes to visit local breweries, hang out with her 6-year-old tortoiseshell cat Penelope, and whip up new recipes in the kitchen. “I love cooking,” she enthusiastically admitted.
She’s also a sucker for a good book and just read Alex Michaelides’ The Silent Patient. “I finished it in five days,” she added. “It’s so good.”
And Anna is into music – old school style.
She has a collection of vinyl records passed along from her mom and spins those LPs on the regular while continuing to add to the assortment. One of her favorites? That’s easy. “I have a live version of Fleetwood Mac,” she said. “My mom’s uncle worked at a radio station and would get live recordings. He handed this one down to me.”
PRIME is elated to welcome Anna Peterson to the Team and excited to watch her creativity benefit our clients and the community.
