Derived from the Greek words “phos” (meaning light) and “graph” (meaning to draw), “photography” literally translates to “the art of drawing with light.” And now is your chance to shine. Focus on showcasing the things that make our community great by entering the Maple Grove Moments Photography Contest.
Prime Advertising & Design is pleased to once again collaborate with the City of Maple Grove to sponsor the event, open to anyone living in Maple Grove from beginning shutterbugs to seasoned pros. Submit original work now until noon on July 16.
Residents are encouraged to submit up to three photos in each of four categories: Going Together – everyday people doing everyday (or extraordinary) things; Going Places – community events, places, activities, and businesses; Going Natural – the beauty of landscapes, trees, flowers, and nature; and Going Wild – critters, winged things, wildlife, and pets. Photographers 18 and younger can submit from any of these classifications under the Youth category.
