Mark J. Murray, President and Founder of Prime Advertising & Design, Inc., graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management. Mark is a dedicated professional who has combined knowledge, hard work and a positive attitude to successfully build his business from the ground up.
After working successfully with many businesses in the Northwest Metro area as a marketing consultant, Mark was approached by the City of Loretto and was asked to create a community guide. He happily accepted the project, and within a year had expanded the guide to encompass the entire Northwest Suburban area.
Mark’s entrepreneurial spirit helped him to realize the impact that these community guides could have on the economic growth of other communities. He also recognized the need to help educate the residents about the local businesses and non-profit organizations and the services they provide. It was the potential of this vision that gave Prime Advertising & Design its start in 1993.
Mark is also very active within the community and Northwest suburbs. He has been involved with many Chambers and community organizations. He was President of the Northwest Suburban Chamber in 2002 and served as a Board of Directors for 8 years.
Over the past 13 years, Prime has continued to grow and expand. Now specializing in three primary business areas – Print Media, Multimedia and Resource Guides. Prime has progressed into a full-service advertising agency that offers marketing and business development solutions for companies of all sizes. Prime currently publishes Community Resource and Residents’ Guides™ and Chamber directories for over 25 communities in the Twin Cities metro area.
Thanks again to Mark Murray for his great passion and commitment to the Chamber and the community. Thanks for Mark’s entrepreneurial spirit with the Northwest Metro Official Community Resource and Residents’ Guide. Through his time and talents he contributed to the chamber in designing the Chamber logo and assisting with the chamber’s website.
