Maple Grove, MN — August 11, 2005 — Prime Advertising & Design, Inc. has been awarded the contract with Hennepin County Service Centers to provide digital indoor advertising on 42” plasma screens located in the waiting areas. For the 1.2 million annual visitors waiting to purchase driver’s licenses, vehicle tabs, marriage licenses, passports, etc., they will be able to watch the screens for service number updates as well as view local commercials, trivia, public service announcements and more.
The six local Service Centers currently have the plasma screens installed and use them to update the service number rotation. Commercials are scheduled to appear in early fall and will simultaneously display service numbers. Advertisers have the option to place their commercial in one or more Service Centers.
“This contract is a great fit with our core competencies as we are able to produce all commercials in-house,” said Prime President Mark Murray. Because the average wait time is 20 minutes in the Service Centers, a customer’s commercial is viewed by an audience that is captive, relaxed and receptive to their marketing message.”
“I am very excited about the prospect of delivering advertising in the Hennepin County Service Centers and working with Prime Advertising & Design,” said Mark Oswald, Senior Administrative Manager for the Hennepin County Service Centers Division. “The combination of quality service, with excellent video production and management, will create an entertaining experience while customers wait for their number to be called. I am absolutely convinced that working with Prime will take customer satisfaction to a whole new level.”
Each year six Service Centers process over 960,000 transactions with 1.2 million people visiting the centers. A seventh Service Center is scheduled for Lake Street and Chicago Avenue in Spring 2006.
